For teams that want answers where they already work.
Your setup
- A Slack workspace, and/or Claude Code, Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT.
- Certyn already tests one of your environments.
- You want a short status each morning without asking.
Say this to Certyn
Add Certyn to our Slack, and email me every morning with what broke since yesterday.
What Certyn does
-
Slack: opens the Slack connect form. Add to Slack installs Certyn in your workspace. Then mention @Certyn in a channel to ask about runs, issues and releases.
-
Morning email: asks you to approve the change, then saves your question (
app.morningemail.set). Each morning at 8:00 in your time zone (UTC if none is set), Certyn answers it from the project's data and emails the answer to you. You can change it later in Project settings → Morning Email. -
Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients: you add Certyn as an MCP server. For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http certyn https://api.certyn.io/api/mcp \ --client-id tpc_nZvCVz9Wdh1yb7VX7VBzi4 --callback-port 8080Then run
/mcpand sign in. For Cursor, Claude and ChatGPT, see Connect via MCP.
What you get
- @Certyn answers in Slack threads. In Jira and Linear, @Certyn on an issue works too.
- From your editor: list issues, run a suite or a quick test, wait for the result, and read the evidence, without leaving the code.
- One email a day with the answer to your own question, per project.
Limits
- Slack, Jira and Linear cannot show forms or approval prompts. Secrets, connections and settings changes are refused there. Do them in Ask Certyn in the web app.
- The morning email goes to your account email, and only when your email notifications are on. Each teammate sets their own.
- Over MCP with an API key instead of a sign-in, Certyn cannot create API keys, and tools outside the key's scopes are hidden. Pick the MCP Setup preset to set up projects.
- MCP clients cannot start a Copilot fix task. Use Ask Certyn for that.
