For the person who set up Certyn and now wants a colleague to join and share the rest of the setup.
Your setup
- It is your workspace, so you are its owner.
- Your colleague has a work email, with or without a Certyn account.
- Some setup is done. You want to see what is left and split it.

Invite anna@acme.com to our workspace, then tell me what setup is still missing on this project.
What Certyn does
- Lists the team (
app.member.list): members, pending invites, the owner. - Asks you to approve, then sends the invitation (
app.member.create). Anna gets an email. The invite stays pending until she accepts. - Reads the project's setup checklist (
app.setup.get), the same list the dashboard shows: house rules (the wiki), your app (a real URL or Appium settings), what to test, the first test, asking Certyn, Slack, the weekly plan, bug tracker or Sentry, MCP tools, and autopilot (a schedule or CI). - Names the first step that is not done and offers to do it now, for example by opening the form to connect Jira.
What your teammate gets
- She signs in or signs up with that email, confirms her email address, and clicks Join workspace. The prompt shows when she arrives, and in Settings → Team.
- She shares all projects, runs, issues, the wiki and skills. Her own workspace stays; she switches from the project menu in the header.
What you get
- The invite, then the member, in Settings → Team.
- What is left on this project, with the next step.
Limits
- Only the owner can invite, from the web chat or Settings → Team. A member, an API key, or a Slack, Jira or Linear chat cannot.
- There are no roles. Every member can do what you can, except invite or remove people and manage billing. Do not invite people who should only read.
- The checklist is per project and has no step for the team.
- The house rules step is done only when a person saves the wiki on the Knowledge page. Chat edits do not count.
- One invite per email. To send it again, remove the pending invite in Settings → Team and invite again.
