Agenda

Plan the week's testing with Certyn in the chat, approve it, and follow what each item saw.

The Agenda is this week's testing plan: what to test, when it runs, and what you skip on purpose. You make it with Certyn in the chat. Nothing is planned for you without your say. For the idea behind it, see Agenda.

Plan your week

Ask for a plan

On the Agenda page, click Plan my week. Or ask in the chat on Home: plan our QA week.

Talk it through

Certyn drafts the items and says what the week does not cover. Each item is a suite run, an exploratory run with a goal, or a retest of a finding, with a day and time. Ask for changes, for example move the checkout regression to Thursday.

Approve it

When you agree, click Approve plan on the Agenda page, or tell Certyn in the chat. Approved items run at their times.

Each approved item is a real run and uses plan time.

Follow the week

The This week tab shows each item with its status (Proposed, Scheduled, Running, Done, Failed, Skipped) and a count like 9 of 12 done and 1 saw a problem. A dot on Agenda in the top bar shows a plan that waits for you.

To change the plan later, click Change the plan in chat. Certyn drafts the changes and saves nothing until you agree. You can also remove an item that has not run yet.

A proposed plan that nobody approved expires at the end of its week. Past weeks are on the History tab.

The Agenda and your suites

Some suites have no fixed schedule. The Regression suite, for example, runs when the Agenda says so, such as the day before a release. Suites with their own schedule keep it. See Scheduling and Automation.

A release can have its own agenda items. The Releases page then shows how many are done and how many saw a problem.
